Peppers, Madonna Jump Ship From Diana Memorial
Concert loses some big names to Live Earth

by Laura Katz

Red Hot Chili Peppers
LONDON, UK  [Wednesday Apr.25.2007]  /Mix103FM.com/ -- Contactmusic.com reports that Diana's upcoming memorial concert may not be the star-studded event that its organizers were hoping for.

It seems that the show is losing some of its big-name clout to Live Earth, the concert for a climate in crisis.

According to the site, both the Red Hot Chili Peppers and Madonna jumped ship to perform at the environmentally-minded event.

Pharrell Williams, Kanye West, Sir Elton John, Duran Duran, James Morrison, Rod Stewart and Keane are still taking part in the tribute concert on July 1st in London. It would have been Diana's 46th birthday.
